Sustainability is important to us, which is why this idea runs like a red thread through our entire apartment house.
We love the nature that surrounds us and enjoy its advantages every day. For this reason, we see it as our duty to integrate sustainability into tourism in order to enable you to enjoy a conscious holiday. In other words, an apartment holiday in Saalbach, bristles with the necessary environmental awareness.
When renovating our house, from the beginning, our aim was to use high-quality equipment and regional building products. We did not make the selection easy for ourselves, and carried out every piece with great care and great attention to detail. In order to build sustainably and to use innovative and regional products, we chose natural stone from Rauris, wood from our region, geothermal energy, a charging station, water-saving fittings and LED lights.
When you arrive, you will notice that our apartment house was built in harmony with nature. The arrangement made of wood and stone creates a holiday atmosphere to feel good in the midst of the nature from Saalbach.
The Rauris natural stone comes from the Alps and is known for its wonderful properties, an extremely long lifespan and frost resistance.
When using this stone, we access centuries-old knowledge, because this stone was already used in the construction of churches. Even after many years, it shows hardly any change; on the contrary, it sets aesthetic accents.
We heat with geothermal energy. This renewable energy ensures that you can spend pleasantly warm evenings in your apartment during your skiing holiday and watch the dance of snowflakes. We continue on the “Green Road” for the sake of our environment, because together we can change something.
We know that electric cars are becoming increasingly popular and have responded to this. So travel with your electric car and benefit from our charging station, which is located in our own parking area and easily accessible.
But to be honest, you don't really need a car during your holiday in Saalbach! Because during your summer holiday the Joker Card is included, with which you can explore the entire Pinzgau, the heart of the Salzburg region, by bus & train for free. In the Glemmtal, the hiking bus between Saalbach and Hinterglemm runs every 20 minutes and take you directly to the summer cable cars.
In winter, the ski bus and your valid ski pass belong together, like winter and a cold nose. You can use it to your heart's content for free! So it is extremely comfortable that the bus stop is right in front of our house.
We are very proud of the high quality of our water, which comes from our own fountainhead. You too, can enjoy this every time you turn on the tap. In order not to waste anything that is not really needed, we use water-saving fittings.
Last but not least, there are the installed LED lamps, which provide fine-tuning in terms of sustainability. All lights in our house are operated with these and provide enormous power savings compared to conventional lightbulbs.
