On ski or board: discover Saalbach Hinterglemm

The Schönleitenbahn just 300 m away

In the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn there are pistes to suit every ability. Plus, you can really ski cool rounds here and best of all, they all start right outside your front door:  ​     

• The Saalbach Round: Ascent with the Schönleitenbahn, over the Kohlmais to the centre of Saalbach and with the Schattberg Xpress back to lofty heights. From there, it's down via the Jausern slope back to the Zirmhof.
  Duration: 2 hours
  Distance: 19 km
  Altitude difference: 3,600 m
• The big round: Ascent with the Schönleitenbahn, continue along the sunny pistes to the centre of Saalbach. There you take the Bernkogel lift in the direction of the Reiterkogel. On beautiful slopes, you will reach the Zwölfer-Nordbahn, which will take you to the summit, and on the other side of the mountain down into the valley to the Westgipfelbahn. The Westgipfelbahn takes you to Schattberg West. This is where the last slope starts, the Jausern run back to the Zirmhof.

  Distance: approx. 49 km
• The Leogang Round: Ascent with the Schönleitenbahn, continue via the Poltenlift to Leogang. Now you need to take the Muldenbahn before you can ski down the endless pistes with magnificent views of the Leoganger Steinberge mountains. Once at the bottom, take the Asitzbahn back up and back to the Schönleitenbahn to continue to Saalbach and home via Schattberg Xpress and Jausern run.

  Altitude difference: 4,300 m
• And then there's THE CHALLENGE: The largest ski circuit in the Alps - 12,400 metres in altitude, 65 kilometres of piste, 7 hours of skiing pleasure.

TIP: Be sure to allow time for breaks and a stop for refreshments because there is probably nothing better than a stop for refreshments.

And for the perfect end to your ski day, you can cross the meadow (if there is enough snow) and ski directly to the Zirmhof respectively your apartment.
