In the Glemmtal
An enduring E-Bike tour offering spectacular panoramic views. Start in front of the house in the direction of Schönleiten (Wildenkarhütte). Once at the top, continue in the direction of Kohlmais to the Panorama Alm and the Spielberghaus. Via the Bernkogel, you reach the Wetterkreuz reservoir and via the Rosswaldhütte and Forsthofalm to the Talschluss (end of the valley). Enjoy the ride along the banks of the River Saalach back home to the Zirmhof. There are numerous huts on this route that invite you to take a break, while 5 E-charging stations ensure a fully charged battery until the very end.
Duration: approx. 8 hrs.
Distance: 54.3 km
A quick tour for in between
Ride along the Saalach promenade to the Reiterkogel gondola. You can already ascend several metres of altitude with the gondola's bike transport and start your tour at the mountain station. After the Reiteralm, the trail begins, which on this section winds mostly along a pleasant path at a level of altitude to the Wetterkreuz reservoir. Once you have reached the top, you can climb to the summit cross, which is only a few minutes away from the trail.
Duration: approx. 3 hrs.
Distance: 30 km
Start off in the direction of Saalbach, past the fishpond and then take a sharp left turn up the Schattberg. Here you ride along hairpin bends on a forest path to the Schattberg Xpress middle station. You can start immediately on the X-Line from the top station and enjoy the lower section back down into the valley. At the bottom, you can either repeat the whole ride or cycle along the River Saalach back to the Zirmhof.
Duration: approx. 2 hrs.
Distance: 15 km
Of course there is a lot more to discover! How would you like a tour on the "Eiserne Hand" or an extensive tour that leads via Saalfelden, Leogang and back to Saalbach via the Spielberghaus?
