The following hikes guarantee moments of happiness at the summit:
Our local mountain
From the Zirmhof, you have a fantastic view of the Zirmkogel. This is a mountain that is worth the hike! Pack your Joker Card and take the free hiking bus to the SchattbergXpress in Saalbach. The gondola takes you up to the Schattberg with a beautiful panorama over the Glemmtal valley. Follow the signs to "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" and then to the Zirmkogel to arrive safely at your destination.
Duration: approx. 5,5 hrs.
Our recommendation: a good level of fitness!
An absolute highlight
With the Joker Card, you take a ride in the Kohlmaisbahn to the top of the mountain for free. A head start like this offers impressive views from the very first step. Continue along the wooded ridge to the Spielbergtörl. The last part is a bit steep, but you can do it! For the descent, we recommend the path to the Spielberghaus, where you can take a well-deserved rest before returning to Saalbach via the Pascherweg.
Duration: approx. 4.5 hrs.
Something easy for in between
The Schönleitenweg begins a few metres next to the Zirmhof. Walk up this route and follow the signs to the Sonnseitpromenade. The path takes you past farms and Alpine meadows to Saalbach. Once there, you can either walk along the Motorikweg back to Jausern or take the same path back. Remember to have a nice coffee in the centre of Saalbach. Comfort is simply part of a holiday.
Duration: approx. 2.5 hrs.
